The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Well, a co-worker needed a laptop for high end video tasks... rendering, photoshop stuff, animations, etc. and he needed it asap, so I ran off to Gentech's site, stared at the spec's a bit and threw together a G1S-B2 for him... without doing a ton of research... I did ask Ken if he thought it would do, though :D He said yes.

    Anyway... I don't see an owner's thread on this yet... sorry if I've missed it. But tell me, if you have this, do you like/love it? Any problems?

    We went ahead and had Gentech put WinXP Pro on it.
