Hey guys for those of you that run Crysis does the optical disk drive vibrate crazy when the game first loads? In my case, when I insert the disk and close it the initial disk load spins soo fast that my space bar vibrates slightly and causes a distracting vibrating noise. Is this normal or do I have a faulty disk drive? I ran it on my bros Asus lappy and it did not spin this fast nor vibrated anything. Thank you!!

I have the same issue on my G1S B1. I am not too concerned with it as only does this when it first loads. It may become annoying if I used it to watch DVD's though. I apply a slight amount of pressure underneath the drive and the noise disappears.

DVD's work fine I tried :) no noise at all. Only with Crysis, although this is the only game I played on this computer.

If music and other DVD's do not exhibit similar symptoms, your Crysis disc is probably slightly out of balance - happens sometimes in the manufacturing process. You're fine.

I tried different disc's like you suggested- no vibration! Must be a bad batch of Crysis discs.

Yeh i had the same thing with one of my diablo II CD's - but just one of them and never with Crysis- dont care really, no damage to the disk done and use a crack later on anyway

I meant those singular instances are probably caused by an unbalanced mass distribution of the actual disk. (due to unevenly shaped labels or whatever)
