What do you guys think? I've found the G1S-B1 for 1549 on excalibur and the Sn-B1 for 1999 on the same site. The Sn-B1 carries better processor, more ram, 320gb hard drive instead of 200(all though its 5400rpm instead of 7200rpm), the new and highly debated 9500m GS, and a blu-ray player. Do you guys think that these justify the extra $350 and waiting for it to come in? and before someone says i should get a Dell XPS M1530 go build it comprible to the Sn-B1 its about 300 more

320GB 5400rpm should be comparable or slightly slower than a 7200rpm 200GB (larger density => faster). The question is, do you need the larger hdd, and more importantly, how much do you want the Blu-Ray?

To be honest, the BR player and faster CPU is where the $450 have gone too. It also depends on your needs, so please take your time and fill out the FAQ, there might be better options for your needs out there! :)

hmm the G1Sn is slightly more future proof due to penryn processor and 10.1 directx gpu compatibility.

GeForce 9 does not support DX10.1.

If you're willing to spend more, the S n might be a good idea. It has HDMI, right? So blu-ray can be fully utilized if connected to a TV. That is, if you even need it. :p Fill out the FAQ so we can help you better. :)

Oh yeah, welcome to NBR! :D

Thanks for the input guys. Yep i totally goofed that 350 450 lol. but yeah according to the Dell XPS M1530 customizing thing on dells website a blu-ray drive is a 500 dollar up grade lol. so according to dell that alone would justify the price on the Sn. So i'm pretty sure ill go with the Sn thank for your thoughts guys
