Soooo i have been thinking about this for a while: What is the practical use of the strange flashing green lights on each side of my screen? I know skysc****rs have these, airplanes have these, helicopters do, 18-wheelers do, 911 cars do... and then so does my laptop.
Can i configure these to flash at certain times? At a certain freqency? Or am i stuck with these... ummmm... "see me in the fog" lights?

I got tired of comments on how garish they are (even turned off) that I took it to the next step: permanent black marker filled it in nicely, looks pretty seamless.

And before you ask: before filling in the entire thing, I tested a small corner, and then half of the plastic light cover: a tiny bit of acetone and a q-tip took it right off 100%. Yay. :)

it does absolutely nothing except annoy the people beside you. It so stupid, you can't even see if blinking, no point in it at all.
