This is a continuation from my last thread, I'd bump that one but i cant find it.

Pretty much I'm still having that same CPU (T9300) clock issue as before, I've made some leeway and it's getting better but i still have a multiplier issue.
For some reason, even now that I'm using RMClock with all throttling settings disabled, my CPU still is permanently stuck at 1.25Ghz with a 6x multiplier. Even under load, the multiplier will not increase, and thus I am getting worse benchmarks than even a T7200. One thing strange i've noticed is that RMClock is reading a 6x 1v start up state even though i have set it to use a 6x .95v start up state. This is the state it is stuck at, i cannot for the life of me seem to get the voltage to bump up at all. If anyone has any insight and help, I'd gladly accept and appreciate it.

(Also, I've read about that battery charging bug, however this happens all the time full battery/on battery etc.)

How about when you don't have RMClock running? Have RMClock not running, and shutdown and restart without RMClock autostarting. Check with CPU-z.

Also, are your profiles in RMClock set properly?

Same issue, this all started before I even got RMClock, so yes, the same thing occurs. As far as I am aware my profiles are set correctly. What i do notice now is that it is switching to the lowest profile of 6x .95V when idle. Then it switches to 6x 1v. Which isn't one of my specified states, but is the state that CPU-Z read before i got RMClock, so there seems to be some sort of limiter at 6x and 1v.

    Do you have speedstep on?

I believe that if speedstep is disabled, the CPU is locked at a 'safe' multiplier.

I have an exactly the same problem, how to disable speed step? I had asus service replacing my laptop a new mainboard/ cpu however the problem still occur.

The post above says that speedstep being disabled may cause the problem. (I do not know whether that is the case)

That being said, SpeedStep can probably be disabled from the BIOS. (F2 during POST)

It's not necessarily called "speedstep". Can be something like "Vary the CPU speed to save power" or something equally vague.

i think g1sn bios does not have this speedstep or something like this option. I have formatted my computer i installed a clean vista 64bit but still it does not solve the problem.

How about Live Linux? How does the CPU behave there? This is a bit more advanced, but you could try it.

    To monitor the CPU, run:

    cat /proc/acpi/cpu/CPU0/state

at the command line or something along those lines.

You could run some CPU-intensive task and check if the CPU jumps to a higher frequency.

(Disclaimer: I have not tried the above so I am not sure whether results are reliable).
