Sorry for posting similar topic to the gaming sectiong, but really want some attention as this bugs the hell out of me.

So, when running a not-so-cpu-intensive game or 3dmark, the fan completely disregards the load on the GPU. This seems really backwards to me, as they're both linked to the same fan so should be both taken into equation.

3dmark game tests (gpu): fan at 60% MAX(!), gpu temps rocket. On the start of the CPU tests, the fan noticeably spins faster and does so for the remainder of the cpu tests, AND again at the start of the graphics test it SLOWS down to about 50-60%! Just when the GPU needs it most!
This is really irritating as the GPU is the major factor in games and I can't for the life of me figure out why would the fan be acting like this.

Im looking for a way to get the fan to react to full-screen applications more intensively.

G1Sn with 9500M GS, windows 7 x64 build 7048, driver is 179.48. Running stock atm, undervolted cpu.
e: Stock highest temp @ about 89C, average ~86C. Im guessing if the fan would do it's job during these peaks, they could be much lower.
