    Hi

A french friend of mine recently bought a secondhand G1Sn, and installed xp32bit sp2 on it. She told me that her gpu (9500 GS)worked correct on vista, but now she cant install drivers in xp.

When I asked her to check device manager, the wasnt shown any gpu, and when she ran 'dxdiag' she took a cature where no gpu was shown!

    What is going on?

Does the computer have 3GB or more of RAM? If so, check my XP install guide for W7Sg below:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=260996

There are bugs where 3GB+ of RAM can prevent the GPU from being recognized in XP. My guide explains how that can be fixed. Be sure to check all those root ports one at a time, the exact root port may differ on your computer.
