    Anyone's G1s lights blink constantly...like even right now...I thought it was just when using directX...mine are blinking all the time :confused:

    Same, I just turn them off...But then I was wondering too because I thought that these lights only light up when DirectX 9.0 is in use for games. Im guessing it's because of Windows Vista? Anyone know?

    Phew. I thought it was just me, i never noticed till last night in the dark, after i stopped playing FEAR they continued. Long with after a restart, and a shutdown today. Maybe they need to update it.

    are you happy with that laptop? how's the performance in general(in games and else)? and what kind of bundled software(bloatware) does it come with?

    Quite a bit of Asus Software, I haven't removed too much of it. It's my first pc for gaming. So I don't know weither to be happy or not to be honest. I put the settings on relatively high and it plays quite smooth, I need to tweak the settings though.

    To me this is a very good laptop seeing that it is also a 15.4 Inch sized laptop. Performance is great and there isnt much bloatware included. You could simply delete the ones you dont want, and the LED display on the top of this laptop is very unique as well. Right now im very happy with this as my entertainment laptop, so I do recommend this laptop to anyone whos not certain about the G1.

    Anyone knows the purpose of Virtual Camera? It's the only one that wasn't installed from factory. I've installed it but still don't know it's functions.

    SO whats the verdict G1s users? do your lights play all the time or just when you play games?

    My mobo driver disc was corrupt and I couldn't get the drivers for those lights working. I had to download everything off Asus' site and Im was a little sad that they don't work. But if they are this annoying then I guess it doesnt bother me.

    Its kind of cool when your playing games in the dark... but when your cruising the net and stuff its like why are these blinking....then i remembered theyre not supposed to so Im trying to find out if its just me.
