most people said they had an initial rating of 4.4 after their G1s came out of the box. unfortunately, i'm one of those people.

in the G1s owner's lounge there were a few people who posted replies on how to get the score up to 5.1 but i've been unable to do so, even after following the steps and downloading the programs.

how can i get the WEI rating up, because the fact that it's stuck at 4.4 is vexing me.

Click the "Update My Score" from the window that shows the WEI details.

The scores can fluctuate. I have ran the test a few times and came out higher or lower. Simply put, don't worry about it.

    Agreed.

Do install the INF those people were discussing on those threads, it will probably make a performance difference.

But don't worry about the WEI for its own sake.

My A8JP (similar to the G1 in terms of hardware) is also 4.4. And i don't mind the WEI score.
