Just out of curiosity can anyone tell me the actual difference in battery life of the G1s and G1. The G1s components being more powerful probably draw more power. However, the estimates people give and the reviews here make them appear comparable. The review at http://laptopmag.com/Review/Asus-G1S-Gaming-Notebook.htm says the g1s has poor battery life. Their review of the g1 lists battery life as a positive. Their figures for the G1 are 3 hours and 11 minutes where the g1s lasted barely an hour and a half. I assume they didn’t use power savings and had an easier test for the G1, but what is the real world difference?

15-30 minutes longer with the G1s in my experience

I really can't see the G1s getting 3 hours. If someone does let me know how you did it! Please!

I say the average for the G1s is 2 hours...or even slightly less in high power mode.

Battery saving mode...closer to two and half hours.

But let me know how to get three hours please. Because I will need it at school. :)

Whoa whoa whoa, I never said 3 hours.

I suppose the point I meant was 15-30 minutes longer than G1p, my g1p had just barely 2 hours battery life.
