Just installed vista enterprise on my g1s and wondering which programs and drivers I need to install for the laptop to run correctly. I don't like bloatware and I don't want to install anything that isnt needed.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the first thread that coriolis noted is quite informative. By subtraction, the asus programs outside of those are what folks tend to keep but you really don't NEED any of them:
    - ATK (2 programs I believe0 if you want the hot buttons
    - direct console
    - drivers for the webcam
    - synaptics pointing device
    - logitech drivers for the mouse

There have been lots of threads on bloatware and frankly, regarding the G1S, I don't understand the fuss. I don't like bloatware myself, but not much loads at startup and those that so are easily disabled. The rest you can uninstall at your leisure. If you've had a Dell, HP or (shudder) Vaio, you'll know the real meaning of bloatware.

If you're going to use all the G1s's features it would be a good idea to install all the drivers. As for utilities, I would install Lifeframe, Direct Console, and NB Probe(unless you use something else to monitor temps).
