    Hello :)

Does anybody have Armed Assault ?
If yes, what configuration have you on settings please ? (8600M GT)

Moreover, does the G1s make noisy or not ? and heat ?

    Thanks. :)

I can't say anything about that game, but the G1S is neither noisy nor terribly hot.

It is very slow on ArmA, but only because the game never plays well on Vista. It is on the KIL on the ArmA wiki.

    I've tested the Demo version:

    Armed Assault Demo

    G1S
    2GB RAM
    160GB 5400rpm on eSATA
    Stock driver no overclock:

The FPS is very very slow, not able to play.

    Thanks for this review. :)

But if you put all medium and disable shadow detail, what is the FPS ?

That game is probably bad programmed and therefore runs crappy on the 8600GT. I can't imagine the 8600GT hasn't got enough power to handle this game...

I play Arma on 8600M GT in 1440x900 with all details set to VERY LOW.
