In the core2duo version, I think G1 had the better battery life. So what abt the santa rosa version? which one has a better battery life?

The Santa Rosa offers improvements in battery life, so I suspect not much has changed.

The current battery life on the V1JP is about 3 hours on the main battery and another 1:30 for the modular bay battery.

The G1P reported by many users here is 2:30 to 3:30, depending on serveral factors.

The G1S does not have Robson technology, we will have to wait and see what the V1S has.
