I sent my g1s in last week to asus because my gpu had died from the overheating issue. It came back today with the g1sn motherboard like I expected, and everything seems to be working perfect, except for the wifi. I tried reinstalling the drivers from intel's site, but it just won't find any networks. What could be wrong? I really don't want to have to RMA this again for something so stupid.

Did you make sure the Wi-Fi is turned on? You can enable and disable the bluetooth and Wi-Fi by pressing the "Fn + F2" keys.

I would double check the antenna connections on the WLAN card. On the G1S notebooks the WLAN card is in the same compartment that houses the RAM. This compartment is located on the bottom of the notebook right in the middle section. You need to unscrew 2 screws to remove this panel.
