This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hey I'm ordering a G1S from Gentechpc, seems to get great reviews here (idk since I'm a desktop guy who builds his own), anyways I was wondering if anyone had installed XP on a G1s and if they had if they could pm me or publish a guide, since I'd rather not have to track down all the drivers etc. and mess around with the system. If not when I get mine and get xp to work then I'll publish a guide since a bunch of people seem to want xp and not vista (can't blame you).
