Hi lads...
Im in ireland and was deciding between the G1S and G2S, but i was surprised to find that the G1S had a WSXGA+ screen and the G2S had a WXGA+ screen which seems unusual as from the reviews on this site, i noticed that all G2S have WUXGA screens! Is this case normally?
The quality/native res of the screen is a big issue for me and i would be using the laptop for some work/programming..etc as well as gaming. what do you reckon? I think id just go for the G1S as result.
this is the website im looking to buy it off:

There isnt many other retailers that do Asus here, Id like it before christmas...so im going to call into them on the weekend, what do you think?
I'd appreciate your help

Stock G2s screen in the USA is WUXGA. So see if you can find a different European retailer.

Well i looked at all the retailers that deliver to ireland, they all have WXGA+ screens for the G2S. I just find it strange that the stock machines differ from USA to Europe on a component like a display.
I really want it for christmas and i was undecided between the G2S and G1S...so the 15.4" WSXGA+ on G1S probably seals it

In the G2S owners thread apparently im not the only one who cant get a WUXGA G2S in Europe....shame!

Sometimes screens are poorer in Europe on ASUS notebooks. Don't ask me why.

Yep its a pity EBE as the screens on the G series is one of its strongpoints....i dont know why they want to share the love for the G2S in Europe
G2S screen
