Hi about a week ago my screen just shut off inbetween normal prosses and then it soon reset, but the screen it self never turned back on. Turning it on and off a few times also made it not turn on. I left it alone for about an hour and it worked again for about 4 days. After that the screen wouldn't turn back on and I did the same thing *just waited*. Now though nothing seems to help. Since the screen it self dosen't appear to be damaged Im just guessing its the connection between the screen it self since I can fully boot into vista with the screen on and hook up an HDMI cable to my tv and switch over to that, which kinda shows the video card isnt 100% to blame.

What can I do about this?

    Thanks,
    Dan

PS: Copy paste to asus tech support and I'm at a public computer since lappy dsnt work anymore D: So IE dosen't check to grammer mistakes.

I'll be honest, I had the same problem back when no one had any idea that it existed. Actually, twice now. I sent it in the first time under warranty and they 'fixed' it, then the second time (a year later, same problem) I sent it in out of warranty and they fixed it for free. It is the result of a bad GPU/Motherboard. It's still working now and I've had it back for 4 months. *crosses fingers*.
