    G2S-A1 display problem

    whenever i use my laptop for long period of time
    my screen gets messy.. and only for a brief seconds.. like 3 if long 5 maybe..
    should i contact ASUS?
    I'm using the newest driver from laptopvideo2go
    My lap top spec is

    8600m GT 256 DDR3
    200GB 7200 RPM
    4GB RAM
    1GB Turbo memory

    I suggest reverting to stock drivers, and if the problem does not repeat, it's certainly due to drivers.

    If it does, it might be overheating, or a bad GPU. But I doubt that.

    I tried to reverting to stock an problem still exist..
    I had this laptop for just over a month now..

    What are the temps on your GPU when this happens?

    I don't know exactly cuz i just installed everest.. but right now it's at 73 degree ceslius...and I'm just web surfing..

    That;s not so uncommon for newer GPUs.

    If it's not above 90 - 100 degrees Celsius when you get artifacts, it's probably not because of heat.

    it's happening right now and temp is 72 celsius...

    I would suggest downloading a Live Linux distro, e.g., Knoppix or even better Slax with the nVidia driver module. try running it for a few hours. If it does the same thing, I think the GPU is bad and you need to RMA.
