    Hi!

I've recently received my Asus G2SC and noticed a slight lag in games with 5-6 sec interval(not connected to internet and everything is closed from the tray that can be closed). Also obesrved when vista finished it's ~1 min booting (or in idle stage) the hdd led winks in the same way. Next week ill try the readyboost function with a 4g usb drive. Could someone give me an advice what to do to correct that?

First get an application that can tell you the FPS in your games, like running FRAPS in the background, and have the FPS in the corner of the screen. Monitor them, and watch for a dips in the FPS.

If there is not dip in FPS when you get this lag, then consider temperatures. Maybe the fan is spinning faster and then slower and doing this constantly, which may cause your lag.

Then try running the game at a lower resolution and with lower settings.
Also remove a 2GB stick of ram, and then test the game is it runs better without 4gb.

Let us know what happens after doing these tests.

I have reinstalled vista from the factory disc. First time it is doing that again but after a few restarts (and some bloatware removal) the thing disappeared. Dont know what it was but i think some problem with some drivers-programs. By the way im running a system only with 2gigs with ram. I will keep an eye on that and report anything suspicious.
