 Im worried about the HD 160GB 5400 Rpm,

does it worth to upgrade with :

    - 200GB 4200rpm 2.5-inch 9.5mm HDD S-ATA: $89
    - Seagate Momentus 7200.2 120GB 7200rpm S-ATA 300: $75
    - Seagate Momentus 7200.2 160GB 7200rpm S-ATA 300 (Back-Ordered) : $129

    5400Rpm (Stantard on GS!)

    or should i get the Seagate Momentus 7200.2 160GB 7200rpm ??
does the performace changes a lot ? or should i stay with the stantard 5400 RPM ?
7200 gets 25% faster spin speed over the 5400, so is that a real good upgrade or not ???

    thx :D

The 7200.2 will probably be worth the upgrade, since this is a gamming rig. The 160Gb 5400.3 was about as fast as the 7200. 1, but Seagate's second generation of 7200RPM run even faster due to an improved memory desinty: meaning each memory block is smaller, so the drive travels shorter distances.

I see, but just genth reaiter offers that upgrade?
or it comes from the manufacturer (asus) so i can assured that this upgrade is really well done with no concerns ?
whats the retailers that offers this kind of Upgrade other than Genth??
Should i get 120 Gb or 160Gb ? considering new game that ll be released and the possible External Hard drives? cuz the 160GB is 100% the value of 120Gb one (+75$ to +129$) respectively..??!

    thx again!

GenTech is a great reseller, and will perform the upgrade. The techs working on it are knowlegable, and it will be under warranty if anything happens. Many resellers usually sell Asus ensemble units as-is, meaning they do not perform onsite upgrades.

Will you get the 160 or 120GB hard drive 7200.2rpm ?
    does 40gb worth 70$
im think so cuz the new stuff we could store on the future, or the express interface ll help us about the storage issue ?

i think its worth the upgrade. seagates only shipping 7200.2 in 160gb now. its relatively cheap and if i were buying a new nb 7200 would be a requirement
