    The one with BR also has a Intel X7800 processor.

    There is also a G2k, with a HD2600 GDDR3, which is a few hundred cheaper then the B1 I believe.

    Right, I completely forgot to mention that. Using AMD processors have traditionally meant a discount of a few hundred :p

    Now don't get me wrong the AMD is a great cpu as a matter of fact I'm typing on an opteron 185 right now and it scores Higher than my G2S-A1 for vista bs score

    But of course, traditionally AMD's always been that way, aggressive pricing, which is why they dominated(?) the desktop market, though they're a bit behind in the mobile processing unit.

    Though I'm a bit urked the G2s didn't get a slight upgrade, the 8700GT would of been nice.

    The G2S- Extreme for 3599 for sure should have gotten the 8700, I mean come on Bluray just ain't worth the premium. I picked up a recertified PS3 with the 20gig hd for $299. The x7800 2.6gh (overclockable to 3.0 ?? ) sounds nice and the 200 gig 7200rpm HD (i got mine for $229 hitatchi)
    $3359 discount at the egg seems about $600 bucks high to me !
