    Hey all,

I'm wondering if my problem is a unique one. Basically, my G50's speakers are SUPER quiet...

If I'm watching a movie and there's a whisper scene, it's a bit irritating because I can't hear it! And when I play music (with a different program) it's also not very loud... So I know it's not just a particular program.

Does anyone else have this problem? Do you recommend any potential fixes?

    TIA :D

BTW, I normally have my G50 attached to external speakers, which are great. The problem described above applies only when I am detached from my desk.

No, yours isn't a unique one. G50 series speakers are known to have low volumes.
I know what you're saying because I had G51J once, and speakers were so quiet that I had to use earphones.

Ughh, so this isn't something I can fix? Crap.

Has anyone ever gutted their G50 for new speakers...?

I've been seeing some solutions but I didn't see any results coming out of it.
Maybe you should consider external speakers?

For the G51s, if you went to the included audio driver settings and look around the equalizer section or something like that, there was an option to put it at powerful which iirc made it a bit louder. I think the audio equalization thing also helped but I forgot which setting - you may need to ply around for a while.
