Was wondering if some of those brave people out there who are trying out builds of W7 have any issues with their laptops at all.

I'm really looking forward to upgrading from vista -> W7 in the very near future.

Same here, I've already purchased the upgrade plan while it was at a good price. To my knowledge I believe it was either the direct console, overclocking function, or the OLED that wasn't working properly under Windows 7.

The only issue I've had is that the touchpad won't turn off when I tell it to. Otherwise all the apps that worked in Vista work in 7.

I actually have a weird problem with Win7RC. For some reason every other time I start or reboot the laptop, the touchpad will not work. For some reason Win7 or maybe the bios doesn't recognize the touchpad (and sometimes the video card) and it (they) won't work. The video card defaults to standard (VGA?) mode but the touchpad is dead until I reboot and then it works fine.

I have tried to reload and update drivers but nothing seems to help. :( Regardless of the problem I have purchased the Win7 Pro upgrade and hope that it doesn't have the same issue.

everything works with Win 7 including the OLED... all the hotkeys, direct console, etc... just takes time and a little research
