    Hey,
I have seen comprehensive guide on g50's from clutchx2, which was very good. My noted book is G50VM-x1. I do have some questions for the experts here on upgrading my processor, ONLY for gaming reasons:

    1) I am upgrading my processor to t9900, since we can't upgrade our graphic processor, I want to make sure I get the right processor \ video card combination. It would be waste of money if I upgrade my processor and it is bottle neck, while a slower processor could have don't the job just as good. Tell me if this is good match or should I use another processor?

    2) I also wanted to upgrade my harddrive, but the bottom of notebook is very confusing, and does not seem as easy to open as per say dell for example. Does anyone has a guide or instruction guide for upgrading hard drive or processor, etc on g50's.
    Thanks

well you can upgrade the gpu to a 9800m gs or a gtx 260 as long as you can find one from an other g5x series. and if you do find one you need the heatsink.
