I just picked up a G50 from Best Buy and I cant get it to properly output video through HDMI to my 24in LG LCD. I've also tried a 50in Pioneer HDTV and it wont work. The image is badly skewed to the left or right and nothing I can do in the Nvidia control panel will let it work. I've tried new drivers, new cables, everything, it just wont work on the native resolutions of the devices.

    Anyone else seen this?

Wrong forum this is the owners lounge :p

Have you tried changing the setting on your TV to say something like scale to full or something like that? Do that in the settings first and then plug it in.

I had scaling issues too trying to connect to my Sharp 1080p LCD. I found that I needed to toggle off the laptop LCD to get the correct resolution on my TV. It wasn't an skew issue but the resolution wasn't at 1920x1080 even though I set it to that. It kept going to 1680x1050 until I toggled off the laptop LCD, then I got full 1920x1080.

Your issue sounds a bit different but maybe this can help.
