Whenever i turn on my laptop, it posts (the asus explosion), but then the screen goes black and reboots

Again i hear the asus explosion, but this time it boots properly. I was wondering if anyone knows why its doing this? It only started a few days ago...

I have reset my bios to manufacturers default, and reset my IDE configuration to compatible (i have xp and vista dual booted)

    So any suggestions?

It's BIOS glitch, first try update to the latest BIOS, or you can just do this:

1: enter BIOS and load User default.
2: save the settings and exit.
3: enter BIOS again and load user default again.
    4: save and exit.
