    G50V Second HD not detected

    I updated the BIOS to 2.07 and now the second HD is not showing up. Anyone have this problem wit a known fix? :mad:

    Does your second hard drive show up in the bios?

    Someone found a solution, forgot by who but you can try enter the BIOS and load user default, exit BIOS and re-enter the BIOS and load user default again and exit BIOS.

    Or flash back to BIOS 203.

    No it wasn't something simple :p , I tried:
    - Swap units
    - swap hard drives
    - every version of BIOS

    Asus said it's BIOS glitch that it's thinking the laptop is on recovery mode so it disable the 2nd HD, the solution at the time is use recovery disk to recover Windows and it'll re-enable the 2nd HD. Until someone very nice found that solution on Asus forum and posted here in this forum. :)
