I've had my G50V for quite some time now but I've never really used the Turbo mode before. Today I decided to try it out but 5 seconds after I turn it on it just goes back to normal mode again even though it is connected(not battery mode) and its not hot at all. Is this fixable?=)

Make sure your battery profile is set to High Performance and that your AC adapter is plugged in.

    Have you reinstalled your notebook?

If so than you forgot to load something on.

I had this happen after reinstalls. I think you have to install the Power4g or whatever its called and all the acpi/atk drivers.

Its doing that though because something is missing it wants.

Few searches and you can find out for sure but I think that power extreme program thing is what did it on mine and everyone elses when we had it.
