Where do I get the latest video drivers? I went to Nividia and the card isn't listed.

Also the drivers on listed on the ASUS site have you guys installed them all?

I actually saw those on the net. I do believe, while I can't really remember, the Inf file needs to be modified, which isn't a big deal.

How do you modify the INF file to get it to work for the 9700? On Vista x64, running the included setup just says no supported hardware was found. I didn't see anything immediately obvious in the INF file that I should modify.

Laptopvideo2go includes a modified inf with every driver. You just need to download the one for your specific driver from them.

When you download their stuff, you always downlod the driver, then the INF after. You then replace the existing INF with the new one, and THEN you install.

    I'm installing 178.13 now.

After you extract the drivers, copy and paste the INF into the extracted file folder where you will be prompted as to whether or not you want to replace the existing INF, which what you want to do.

Just installed them and it worked.

Yep, I'm solid with the install now. In just reading about "modifying the INF" I was looking at the custom INF maker and just missed the simple link thats on the page where you actually download the driver.

Refer to Vicious's G50V-A1 Review, he did mention that 177.79 works well...

What driver downloads have you guys done that haven't messed up your system?

I have latest video drivers and they work well, but I haven't downloaded any others.

I'm using the latest Nvidia one (178.13 I believe is the version number). I downloaded the file from Nvidia's website and used the Nvidia Mobility Modder utility from driverheaven.net (under TOOLS on the menu bar) to mod the .INF file so that it adds support for the 9700GT. I had originally tried the laptopvideo2go ones but have found the Mobility Modder utility works great and allows me to use the latest Nvidia driver sooner.

So far the latest driver (178.13) has worked by far the best for me. When I tried 177.79, I could only output a 1080p res @ 30Hz instead of 60Hz (via HDMI). With 178.13, I now have 1080p@60Hz.

Also, it appears that ASUS have updated their utility drivers for the 64-bit OS (I didn't look at the 32-bit ones), including an update WiFi driver.
