I have just ordered a G50V-A2 and I was wondering if it supports (officially or not officially) the quad cores. Has anyone tested it?
    thanks! :)

The notebook quad core chips haven't even really hit the market, as they've only recently just been announced, and the G50 is only a couple of weeks old. I doubt it.

    Severe overheating...

But from what has been making rounds in this forum, the G50V's cooling system is very very good so you might be able to manage it.
