I'm looking to buy a new laptop in the next couple months and I'm leaning towards the X1, compared to the A1 (or more expensive A2). I believe the major differences between them is: smaller harddrive, slower CPU and no Blu-Ray. Is this correct or is there something else I'm missing that should push me towards spending the additional money for the A1? The X1 is closer to the amount I'm looking to spend, but I can scrap together the extra money if the A1/A2 are significantly better.
Thanks.

get the A1 at www.newegg.com its like 1.350k last time i check.
You get -
a1 = better laptop, mouse, bag, good warranty by asus
bestbuy x-1 is 1.25k, weaker specs, bad warranty - you get bestbuy warranty, not asus. -
The A1 is not available through Newegg anymore. Thanks

You did not mention the 15.6 inches screen and the lower resolution of the BestBuy version. Also of course the warranty difference (2year ASUS international versus 1 year BB) and the lack of accidental damage protection with the BB version (although some people have said that they successfully registered BB versions with ADW, so this one is not certain).
Other than that I think you caught the rest.
So if all this stuff is worth for you more than the price difference, then buy one of the A models. Otherwise, get the X1.
G50V-X1 vs. G50V-A1/A2
