    G50VT + Vertex + win64

    Hey all,

    i recently stuck a vertex 120gb in my g50vt-a2, installed the 7100 version of win7 x64. everything was perfect... bootup was insanely fast, win index score of 7.3. In the bios, sata mode was set to performace.

    I now have the volume licence for Win7 64bit enterprise and i am having all sorts of issues. its like the HDD drivers have changed in the public release. now i cant even install it unless sata mode is set to compatible, its running a bit slower, boot up etc. the win index score is now 6.9.

    i know its early in the piece but has anyone else had any dramas with the public release of win7? i would have thought the beta/rc versions would be broken, not the retail...

    my bios is not fully updated, i think it flashed it at the end of last year.

    thoughts?
