    G50VT Direct Console problem

    I am having a problem with my G50VT. The Direct Console does not seem to work. Everytime I open it, or try to do something with it, it says,"An invalid argument was encountered."

    I wish I could provide more details than that. It really is the only thing I could scrounge up. My LED has also become stuck at the REPUBLIC OF GAMERS logo. I am almost positive the two issues are related.

    Could be the program corrupted, you can try uninstall and reinstall direct console, I suggest download the newer version from Asus website instead of the one in the drivers DVD.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times with no luck. However, downloading 2.05 and using that to repair DC worked out.

    Uninstall it and re-install it...I had the same prob but its all fine now!

    is there direct console for windows 7? I was looking to put that back on my computer but I dont see it one asus's site.
