Hello everyone, this version does not have a media center remote control, but, what about the IR receiver? Because i tested it with a remote control from the my friend's Compaq notebook, it didn't work... But Device manager show a "ITECIR Infrared Receiver (EC)" !! the question is: Why can't i use it?

I'm having the same problem with my new G51VX from Best Buy. Did you ever find a solution?

Infrared is right on front to the left of the wifi on/off switch. IDK why it wouldn't work though. Laptop also has a tv-tuner antenna on the left to the right of the usb port. It has a rubber tab on it. Asus tries to hide the tv tuner capabilities for some reason.
