    Hey guys,

I added an extra HDD to my G50VT-X2, then on subsequent boot ups, it would show the RoG logo (with the fire and the sound), load BIOS, etc. And then just before loading the OS, the machine would reset, the RoG logo would show up again, and then this time, it boots the OS.

If this a firmware problem? How do I check my firmware version and how do I upgrade it?

Definitely odd... I took a hard drive straight out of my newly dead machine (which booted Vista) and my Asus knew to boot from the stock hard drive anyway, no problems.

It's a known bios glitch that it disable the 2nd hard drive, to fix this go to BIOS by press F2>Exit>load user default>save settings and exit, and then press F2 again to enter BIOS> load user default>save settings and exit.
