    I HATE Vista. Getting the drivers for this machine is not usually a problem. However, all the utilities are for Vista only or can they be used for XP?

    What utilities do you need? Some will work or have equivalents for XP (for instance, the ATK utilities), others will not (like Direct Console). Yet others have functions that can be efficiently performed with other tools (Power4Gear).

    Yes, Direct Console is one of the things I need. Do you think I can use the one from the G1s? It just seems that all the utilities are carryovers from the G1s.

    I don't know if you can use the G1S DirectConsole. You could search around and see if people have tried that.
