I've spent hours on the forum reading all about this machine, but still can't come up with an answer that satisfys me.... So i ask you guys to simplify and advise me on CPU upgrades, and a GPU would be nice but i haven't found anybody that have done it....

So far my X5 has 6GB Ram and an SSD drive, Wich seems to make quite a diference fo my use (COD's and AutoCad projects).

    Any help is apreciated....

    Thanks

Will you can upgrade the CPU to a X9100 or T9900 without any issues other than voiding your warranty. This would significatly improve your AutoCAD experience. Now if you're lucky and can spot a ASUS Geforce GTX 260M around you can upgrade the GPU as well (FYI a few people have already done this). If you have any use for Bluetooth you can buy the internal card and add it, but will require you to stip apart the laptop to install it.

A word of caution on the GPU swap to a 260M: it runs hotter than the 9800m. You'll need to do some sort of cooling mod to compensate or find a G51 fan.

If it's an OEM, there will shouldn't be any issues whatsoever.

If it's an ES, make sure to do your homework.
