I am getting my G50VT-X5 soon and I am assuming that it comes with a 6-cell battery.

How much more life am I to expect with a 9-cell battery?

    That's easy, three cells more.

^Lol, sadly, that's pretty much correct. You're going to get 3 cells more, or 150% of what a 6-cell can provide.

50% more time than what you get on the six cell.

Hi, I just recently bought this laptop, and it came with a nine cell battery. In battery saving mode I get up to three and a half hours while surfing the web. I haven't tried playing games using the battery, or watching videos though. Its better than I expected, keep in mind it will only go down over time though.

3 hrs on power saver mode. 6 cell = 2 hrs on power saver. 9 cell = 3 hrs on power saver

Yeah, I bought mine from Tiger Direct. I don't know if they have any left though. I wasn't sure which type of battery it would come with though, the description on the website wasn't very clear in that respect.
