    For those who have Windows 7 upgraded from Vista, did you have any problems with stuff not working? Do OLED, touchpad, etc... still work? I need to know before I purchase it. Thanks

    Since this seems like a relevant topic to post, I'm running Vista x64 on my G50VT-X2 and looking to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate. The issue I'm running into is this:

    Any idea how I might get the drivers described? I tried automatically updating, to no avail.

    That appears to be the only major issue pre-upgrade.

    By the way, I am going to be using the RETAIL UPGRADE, not the one provided by ASUS.

    Installed on mine. Just had to reinstall VMWare.

    Nobody has the free upgrade from asus yet. nobody has ANY free upgrades yet. retail nor the upgrades ship til the 22nd of this month
