I've recently bought a refurbished G50Vt-X5 laptop. I downloaded the latest drivers (for Nvidia especially) and then I started playing FEAR.

Considering the threads I've read on this laptop, I expected it to run smoothly. However, even on Medium video settings, it's rather slow.

When I start playing, everything is perfectly smooth (though I wouldnt expect anything else on such low settings), then after a minute of play or a little shooting, it becomes kind of jerky? (sorry english is not my native language). It never goes back to that smooth play during the first minute.

Even if I'm using the built in overclock, it doesnt really improve.

Is this normal ? If I remember correctly, people here could play on max setting with little to no slowdowns.

    Thanks
