I recently purchased an Asus G50v and everything with the OLED display worked fine. I have reinstalled Windows Vista with the recovery disks in order to change the partitions.

After the installation the OLED display always displays the Republic of Gamers logo and the Direct Console won't load. My impression is that something went wrong with the driver installation but I can't find where to reinstall that.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't know if there's a driver for OLED screen. Just install Direct Console. If your system has something conflicts with Direct Console, just kick it way and install LCDHype :D. I highly recommend the script that I'm using.
