And...have you benchmarked it and made sure that it is completely stable? If you used 3DMark, you should post the results for other ASUS users.

Yep i went from 5400 3dmark06 to 6200 3dmark06, this is with the system normally loaded not optimized for best results.... i can get about 6000 when optimized so i am wondering what 3dmark will spit out with it

So far here is the results
    Shader Clock:1550 score 5445
    Shader Clock:1750 score 6159
    Shader Clock:1800 score 6225

Temp running at 81c at 1800mhz shader clock

Cool. Thanks for the info. Just one other thing, how to you access the Shader clocks with Nvidia System tools? I'm a bit new to using this :D

should be one of the options in the performance tab of where your normal nvidia settings are to change resolution on the left hand side

I have used the latest beta video drivers from laptopvideo2go and I got a small increase in performance.
the max I can overlock the shaders is 1800mhz.

I am tryng to figure out why in XP is possible to icnrease memory and core and in Vista not. This have to be related to the software! THERE MUST BE A SOLUTION!
    I keep tryng.

Ok here are some interesting news about the VISTA64 with the latest drivers 180. installeds

    I have found that

    1) If you try to change the SHADERS clock value with the power charger plugged in you can raise and lower the values

    2) If you try to change the SHADERS clock value with the power charger UNPLUGGED it wont let you change the values.

    3) If you try to change the MEMORY or the CORE values with the power charger UNPLUGGED it wont let you change the values at all

    4) if you try to change the MEMORY or the CORE values with the power charger PLUGGED IN it will LET YOU LOWER the values. But once lowered it wont let you raise them again.

At this point I think that the software and power management can be the main problem. It would nice to try uninstalling all the power managements softwares.
