Hey everyone, I'm sorry I didn't use the search engine to try and find something, but I really don't have time at the moment and I really need this fixed..

The problem is that when I try to OC the cpu, using SetFS or even the direct console turbo and turbo extreme, after a few minutes of having the portable turned on, it works fine, except the internet connection goes boom. this just started happening to me recently, everytime I OC, few minutes later, I loose internet connect... I OC'ed the CPU and ran 3dmark06, after it finished I noticed I didn't have a connection to the internet since I couldn't submit my result..

Anyone got any ideas on this?

googling/searching for the answer didn't work, so even though it was covered a few times ill explain it again.

intel boards don't have a pci-e lock, so raising the fsb raises the pci-e clock. lan (and wireless and vga) need a 100MHz pci-e (eg. packet timing). if the bus is off, then the timing is off, and the router discards all packets from that host. because of that, it will be stuck @ 10Mbs and won't connect.
