    G50v DVD Drive

    Ok out of the blue my DVD drive starts making this clacking sound and shakes my whole Laptop. I don't care about the humming but the clacking makes me fear for the CD inside. I have only had it for a week now and i have barely used the drive. It sounds as if the laser reader is trying to move but is have some issue.


    Anyone else☺ have this problem?

    No, haven't heard of that but it could be the lens on the track as you say trying to move and it can't... sounds like warranty time!
