    Hi Guys,

I just flashed my bios from 204 to 209 on my G50V and whenever it loads the system it says that it can't find the OS. I've tried flashing back and it won't work. My guess is that my hdd's were in RAID before this and the bios at default settings doesn't have that set up. My question is whether there is ANY way that I can get my notebook back in working order again without losing all the data I previously had?? I'm working on an important computer science project that I have to finish by tomorrow >_<

Set up your flashed bios in Raid 0 and see if that works?

Use F2 while booting to get into bios and set the HDD up correctly. From there you may have to restart and go into the intel storage matrix config (shortcut I forget, its in my review though) and make sure to setup the raid from there too if its not working.

Ah, it did ^^. I got a little scared that I'd have to build another Raid set with the raid tool, which would effectively clear my hdd's, but it was enough just to set it in the bios. That's a load of relief... Thanks a lot.
