I understand that the built in mic isn't great but i recently recognized a issue while playing Warhammer Online and trying to use vent with the built in mic. As long as i am not tabbed into the game the mic will work as expected but as soon as i tab in and try to talk if i say "Test 123" often it will sound like "Est 1 o 3" or similar with my voice getting higher and lower often to the point you cant hear or distinguish what i am saying.

These problems miraculously disappear when i plug in a external mic.

I've done the following to try and fix it:
    -Change the priority of Ventrillo
-Monitored the Mic volumes outside of ventrilo to make sure it wasn't just vent
-Changed about every single setting inside recording panel and retesting as well as every single vent setting
    - changed my audio drivers i have the ones released on 10/2/08 now same problem

    Ways to cuase it include:
    -High CPU usage
-Any game basically which is the whole point of having a built in mic for me
