Does the G50V SD card reader support SDHC cards? Since my G50 is my daily workhorse computer I've been using a 1Gb SD card to do incremental backups of my work folder throughout the day. Of course, I do backups to an external ESATA drive in the evening.

I've been looking at these 4 Gb SDHC cards that are on sale and I tried to find out if the G50V supports them but so far I've struck out. I don't have any SDHC cards to just try.

FWIW, I've been enjoying my G50V-A2 for over a year now. It has its quirks, but overall I'm very happy with it.

Yes, no worries; I used both a 4GB and an 8GB in my G50Vt-A2 with no problems.

Thanks for the info tallan. I purchased a basic 8 GB SanDisk SDHC card for $20 CDN and it works great. Since I will only use it for incremental backups, I wasn't concerned about getting a faster, more expensive unit.
