    Where can I find this bracket? It's ALWAYS out of stock at the US Asus store. It is in stock at the UK store but I really don't feel like paying $33US for it. I've tried all my normal online parts stores and can't find it. I want to add a 2nd HD to my new laptop. Thanks in advance.

    The G50VT-X5 comes with foam pre installed in certain spots (one peice on the door) check my guide for the picture if u want to make yours the same.

    I doubt the part will be in stock as long as the G50/G51 model is in production. I was actually curious how far off the M50 bracket is as it is in stock, wouldnt be the first company todo something stupid like that.

    EDIT - wait why did u ask for "G50v-1a", you already have an X5 which has the padding?
