Is there something I can change in the settings somewhere so that when I close the laptop it doesn't stop what it's doing and go into hibernate? ie If I am transferring files, to not have it be interrupted when I shut the laptop?

I noticed that if I have music playing and I shut the laptop it will continue to play (with headphones).

    Thanks!

Thanks for the help :) I would have wondered what you were talking about if you said it's in windows, I am experienced with computers, just never had a laptop before heh. Anyways, thanks! :D

You can customize all this stuff through Power4Gear (it's accessible on the side of the Power Options window).
