    Hey, after runnig the laptop 12 hours straight i get around 60-65 on idle and about 85-90 in gaming is this ok?

    im starting to panic as ive seen a 9 digit in the menu lol

    That's roughly normal. Are you overclocking at all?

    My G50VT X-5 runs 59 C idle and heats to 75-80 C in game.

    For reference, my OC'd 9800M idles at around 54C. How much it heats up depends on the task.

    For older games or PS2 emulation, 70C-71C is max.
    For demanding games like Crysis, 88C is roughly max.
    Stress programs like Furmark generate up to 93C max.
